ABOUT NANCY MORGAN

NANCY MORGAN is an active member of: Music Teachers National Association, Massachusetts Music Teachers Association (past chairperson of the North Shore MAE Evaluations), National Guild of Piano Teachers, New England Piano Teachers Association (gave lecture at the April 2014 Teacher Exchange,"Teaching Adult Piano Students"), North Shore Piano Teachers Guild (positions held: president, vice-president and recording secretary). Ms. Morgan composes piano pieces in various genres and styles and records a solo piano album annually. Nancy has a B.A. from Wellesley College and is currently continuing her music studies at Salem State University.

She has studied piano with Edith Mehaffey, Zoshia Yasinovitch at Connecticut College, Lois Shapiro (Triple Helix pianist) at Wellesley College, Edna Smart, Robert Tumarkin, Anthony diBonaventura at the Colby College Summer Institute, Tony Caramia (Jazz Piano Seminar) at Westminster Choir College, Maggie Scott of Berklee College of Music (jazz), Charlie Banacos (jazz), Mark Retallack (jazz), Rusty Palumbo, Rein van der Linde at the Sonata School of Music (pipe organ) and voice lessons with Dede Austin.
